Events of the Roman Summer
JOURNEYS THROUGH ANCIENT ROMEFrom 17 June to 7 November 2021, Forum of Augustus, via Alessandrina, Rome
The extraordinary multimedia show, conceived by Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano, returns and tells the story of the Forum of Augustus.
Seated on the appropriate stand, spectators will be able to return to enjoy an exciting and at the same time rich representation of information with great historical and scientific rigor, accompanied by the voice of Piero Angela and the vision of films and projections that reconstruct the place as well as presented in ancient Rome.


Hours (every evening):
June 17th to July 31st: 9.15pm, 10.15pm, 11.15pm
From 1st to 31st August: 9.00pm, 10.00pm, 11.00pm
September 1st to 30th: 8.15pm, 9.15pm, 10.15pm

Street food tour: from the Jewish Ghetto to Largo Argentina
A walking tour through the streets of Rome with the tasting of authentic traditional specialties, such as supplì, pizza or ice cream.
You will meet your guide near Campo de "Fiori where you will taste some local cured meats and wine as well as try one of the most famous street foods in Rome, the supplì and the classic Roman pizza. You will then go to the ghetto, the ancient Jewish quarter of Rome where you can taste the famous artichokes alla giudia to conclude the tour at Largo di Torre Argentina where there are four ancient Roman temples and where you can enjoy a delicious ice cream in one of the 10 best ice cream parlors in Rome.

Evening walks to the Imperial ForumsFrom 24 June to 26 September 2021, Colonna Traiana, Piazza Madonna di Loreto
Every evening from 18.30 to 21.50 (last admission), visitors, with the purchase of only the Imperial Forum ticket, will be able to enjoy an evening walk in one of the most evocative archaeological areas of Rome.
The itinerary starts from the multimedia museum under Palazzo Valentini, where visitors will be able to see a film, curated by Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano, with the virtual reconstruction of Trajan"s Column that allows you to closely observe the bas-reliefs that tell the conquest of Dacia from part of the emperor.
The tour then continues on an itinerant basis from the Forum of Trajan to the Forum of Caesar, through the passage under Via dei Fori Imperiali, for a total duration of about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The visit is included in the Imperial Forum ticket and is free for MIC card holders.



Theater at the Globe Theater 2021From 30 June, Globe Theater, Villa Borghese
Like every summer in Rome, this year too, on 30 January, the Gigi Proietti Globe Theater reopens, the theater built inside the gardens of Villa Borghese, which philologically reconstructs the Globe Theater in London.
For the first time without Gigi Proietti, the 2021 season program is:

    The TIMVISION FLOATING THEATER - SUMMER FEST is the only Italian floating arena in an urban context, with, on the program, cult films, classics, themed reviews and genre films, combined with special meetings with directors and actors that will accompany the start projections.
