Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy The special Jubilee of mercy & egrave; It was officially proclaimed by Pope Francis officially with the delivery and reading bubble Misericordiae Vultus which took place Saturday, April 11 2015 during the celebration of the first vespers of Divine Mercy Sunday.
Previously announced by the pope March 13, 2015, the Jubilee of Mercy will begin on December 8, 2015 ending November 20, 2016 .

The Opening of the Holy Door The introductory rite of the Jubilee & egrave; the opening of the Holy Door, a door that is open only during the Holy Year, while in other years it remains walled. Have a Holy Door the four major basilicas of Rome: St. Peter, St. John Lateran, St. Paul Outside the Walls and St. Mary Major, the Holy Doors of the other Basilicas will open after the opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica.
