Do you know what a butterflies is? Would you like to wear a melacappello or smoke a piperamo? Everything is possible in the Magritte world.
At the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, for the third consecutive year, a book and an exhibition-laboratory dedicated to a great name of art return. After Matisse and Degas is the turn of René Magritte, told with skill and freshness by the sign of the illustrator Klaas Verplanke, author of the illustrated book La mela di Magritte.
Inspired by the artist's masterpieces, the book invites readers of all ages to observe the world around them with a free look, to appreciate how even the most common objects can take an unsuspected identity and reveal something new.
The exhibition is enriched by a rich calendar of visits to shows and workshops for schools and families (each Sunday from 11.00 to 13.00) to know Magritte and the surreal imaginary that populates his paintings.

Following is the excavation of a "Paleontological Site Simulator" in search of prehistoric aquatic giants. The workshop ends with the artistic activity of painting sea monsters on fossil stone to take home as a souvenir

A Carnival party inspired by the theme of Superheroes and Princesses with a show dedicated to the whole family full of emotions and laughter: the most beloved superheroes (Spiderman, Iron Man and Hulk) and the most beloved princesses ever (Elsa and Bella), for the first time against the worst villains of fairy tales and cartoons (Malefica and Venom).

The Art of the Brick: DC Super Heroes

Artist Nathan Sawaya presents over 120 great sculptures made of Lego bricks and inspired by heroes but also by DC villains, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Joker and Harley Quinn. Among the works on display stands a Batmobile of real size built with half a million pieces.
